Get out your Hawaiian themed outfits out and join us for the annual Zonta Club of Anchorage Summer Social at the Hilltop Ski Chalet! This year’s “Luau” is sure to be a blast with many special touches planned. This year International Membership committee member Cindy Phillips, District Membership committee chair Leatta Dahlhoff, and Area Director Judy Norton will be presenting a special program on Zonta International’s programs.


Sexual assault safety airs at 2pm on Hometown Alaska (KSKA/NPR) today. Alaska’s horrendous statistics for sexual assault create a real sense of fear. The numbers tell us women are less safe here than almost anywhere in the country. That needs to change. Until it does, women need information about how to protect themselves.
